Terms of Service

Product Recall Check (productrecallcheck.online) is operated by Active Life Hub LLC (“we”). By using the website or API you agree to these terms.

What the service does

Product Recall Check reports information found in official recall and safety sources — today the recall data of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Food and Drug Administration — together with the source, the exact query and the time of the check. It is not a government service, does not issue recalls, and is not endorsed by any authority whose data it reads.

What results do not guarantee

• Product Recall Check does not guarantee product safety, the absence of defects, the absence of future recalls, or complete global coverage.
• NO_MATCH_FOUND means only that no matching recall was found in the checked official sources under the supplied identifiers. It does not mean the product is safe, free of defects, or will never be recalled.
• SOURCE_UNAVAILABLE and UNABLE_TO_VERIFY state that no determination could be made; they are never a statement that no recall exists.
• Recalls announced only by a manufacturer, a retailer or another country, and categories listed as not covered on the Coverage page, are not checked.
• Match states, confidence levels, normalized hazards and parsed restrictions are our deterministic interpretation; the authority’s original wording is always included and prevails. Follow the authority’s and the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Results are information, not legal, medical or safety advice.

Payment

Checks are paid per request with x402 in USDC (0.018 USDC at the time of writing; the current price is always returned before payment). A payment authorization is settled only when a determinate result (RECALL_FOUND, POSSIBLE_MATCH, AMBIGUOUS or NO_MATCH_FOUND) is returned. SOURCE_UNAVAILABLE, UNABLE_TO_VERIFY, unsupported or invalid requests and quotes are not charged. Blockchain transfers are final; if you believe you were charged in error, contact us with the check ID and transaction hash and we will review it for a refund.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to overload the service or the public sources behind it.
• Do not submit personal data that is not needed to identify a product.
• Respect the terms of the underlying public data (U.S. government works).

No warranty; liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for errors or omissions in source publications or for decisions made using results, and our total liability for any check is limited to the amount paid for it.

We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do.
